There’s something about apple cider that instantly makes everything feel cozy. Add a little wine, some fresh fruit, and warm spices, and you’ve got the ultimate holiday drink, perfect for gatherings, holidays, or a casual night in.

This apple cider sangria is easy to make, not overly sweet, and always a hit with guests!

What You’ll Need

  • 1 bottle dry white wine (Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc work best)
  • 2 cups apple cider
  • ½ cup apple brandy or cinnamon whiskey (optional, but delicious)
  • 1 apple, thinly sliced
  • 1 pear, thinly sliced
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • Sparkling water or ginger ale (optional, for serving)

How to Make It

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the wine, apple cider, and brandy or whiskey.
  2. Add the sliced fruit and cinnamon sticks.
  3. Stir gently and refrigerate for at least 2–4 hours (overnight is even better).
  4. Just before serving, top with a splash of sparkling water or ginger ale if you like a little fizz.
  5. Serve over ice and garnish with extra apple slices or a cinnamon stick.

Make It Your Own

Prefer it sweeter? Add a drizzle of maple syrup or honey.

Hosting a crowd? Double the recipe and serve in a large drink dispenser.

Want it lighter? Skip the liquor and keep it wine + cider only.

  • Holiday get-togethers
  • Pre-dinner drinks
  • Cozy nights in once the kids are asleep 😉

Hosting Tip

Set out a small garnish station with sliced apples, oranges, and cinnamon sticks so guests can customize their glass, it looks festive with zero extra effort.
