2021 Local Fireworks Guide | Huntington & Smithtown Moms

Fourth of July Fireworks 2021

Growing up on Long Island, one of my absolute favorite nights of the year was going to the to watch the local fire works for the Fourth of July! Now as a mom, continuing that tradition is a must! Here are some tips and advice for your fire work outings!!

Village of Asharoken’s Fireworks by Grucci

Long Island Sound near Asharocken

Where to watch: Crab Meadow Beach, Centerport Beach, West Neck Beach (Hobart) & Asharoken Beach

Sunday, July 4th @ 9:20 PM (Rain Date July 5th)

What to bring:

  • Beach Chairs
  • Blankets
  • Bug Spray
  • Picnic/snacks **Crab Meadow Beach has a snack bar and restaurant on site**
  • Glow Sticks for kids
  • Flashlights
  • Sweatshirts/Comfy Clothes

Tips:

Spend the day at the beach, in order to get a prime spot for watching fire works! The beaches and parking lots fill up quick! Highly recommend getting glow sticks for all the kids of the group so you can keep track of them running around the beach as the sun goes down!

Fireworks near Crescent Club

Where to Watch: Flower Hill Elementary School

Sunday, July 4th @9:30 PM

What to bring:

  • Beach Chairs
  • Blankets
  • Snacks & Drinks
  • Bug spray
  • Glow sticks
  • Flashlights

Tips:

Show up about 45 to and hour prior to get a good spot on the lawn at Flowerhill Elementary School. The fireworks are fairly close to the school, so sound canceling headphones for babies could be a good idea! Glow Sticks and flashlights are great to keep track of the kids in the group running around the school yard!
