Meet Dr. Christine Blaine, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon of Blaine Plastic Surgery and Huntington mom of three toddlers. We had the pleasure of chatting with Dr. Blaine about being a #momboss and her all-female staff at Blaine Plastic Surgery in Huntington! Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in town?
I am originally from Staten Island but moved to Huntington in 2012 with my husband, who is a Huntington native.

Henry 3 and twin girls, Gianna & Mia, 2
One thing people would be surprised to know about you…
I have wanted to be a doctor ever since I had open heart surgery at 4 years old.
Anyone special you’d like to thank for helping you through parenthood?
My family and friends, especially my mom and Godmother.
Favorite things to do with your kids?
Dance parties!
How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
Networking through family and friends who are big parts of the community. Also, working in the ER at Huntington Hospital, you get to know the staff and local patients, who spread the word about us!
What do you feel is something that makes you as a plastic surgeon different than others?
We have an all-female staff, many of whom are also Huntington residents and are moms or aunts of small children themselves! We are relatable in a way that makes you feel comfortable., A relationship is built between the staff and the patients that is very organic. You come in feeling at ease; the office has a more boutique feel than a stark doctor’s office, which is a plus!
What do you find most rewarding as a Plastic Surgeon?
I think one of the most rewarding parts of what I do is, seeing the confidence people have after a procedure…I love knowing I am a part of making that happen!
Are you available to moms/families if their kids have accidents…need stitches, surgery, etc.?
Absolutely! Call the office, if I am in town, I will be there.
Do you have any events coming up for local moms?
We have a Mommy Makeover Q & A Event coming up in our Huntington office for anyone interested in learning more. What’s great about our Mommy Makeover is that it can be curated to each mom’s specific wants and needs…they are not limited to a set procedure. We hope to see you all there! Tuesday, Feb. 27th 5:30- 8:30pm
